Denver’s Cupid – R. Tony Smith
Hey there. My name is R Tony Smith. I am the founder and owner of Denver’s Cupid, an LGBTQ matchmaking company based in Colorado. I service the entire United States for the LGBTQ community.
My oldest client happens to be 62. My youngest client is 27 and he really wants to build a big Jewish family. And that’s also another way that a lot of matchmakers, especially myself work, and that is based on values and what works for you. It’s amazing how many people are out there looking for love at all ages.
In the LGBTQ community, including the news as of today, some people don’t think we deserve love or that we’re not equal. And so that became, my rallying cry of why am I even doing this?
And it’s because everyone deserves love.
My job is to break into all these different areas and I’m one degree separated from just about everybody. And one of my newest clients is actually based in New York City. And he travels between Toronto LA and Denver. And so I just want love for everybody.
Do You Tick All the Boxes for Bedroom Compatibility?
Number one, it’s all about long-term committed relationships, and then also with gay men, in particular, we have to check out bedroom compatibility. You know, You’ve gotta have complimentary stuff there. And that’s one thing that’s a little bit different with gay men. But also with the LGBTQ community at large, we have masculine, and feminine energy levels that I like to put in a range. So I consider on a scale of one to 10, 10 being super masculine, and one being feminine.
I’m like a five, six and so women are the same way. I just had a fantastically successful lesbian speed dating event last night and it was confirmed again that there are masculine-facing women that are more attracted to feminine women and everything in between.
And then you’ve got, a feminine woman attracted to a trans male. For that masculine, feminine energy. Those are just some of the different things that LGBTQ matchmakers have to look at and consider.
And then of course the one thing that. No app can do is do y’all even look good together. And so that’s just another part of the process and after each date that I set them on I’m very happy to report, not a single person has ever said – pardon my French, WHAT THE F*** were you thinking? cause that’s just what matchmakers should do. It’s checking all the boxes, the backgrounds, the ages, and then also do they even look good together?
The number one thing I would say to all singles is to get out and date, and that is preceded by doing whatever it takes to take care of yourself and do the work to find out what makes you tick.
I always direct people to DenversCupid.com or any social media @DenversCupid. And I’m always saying everyone deserves love, fill out a free profile. It’s five minutes of your time, you’re not gonna die. You’re gonna do great.
